Hi
I have managed to make some good compost and wondered if it is ok to use it to start
my seedlings off if i sieve it as much as possible?
Using Own Compost

Sieved compost is fine, perhaps with something added for better drainage, but you'll get lots of other seedlings coming up as well as what you've sown. You can sterilize in the oven at 140 degrees centigrade, but it's a bit of a messy business.
